Student of the Master in Management of Ecosystems of Arid Zones of the Universidad Autónoma de Baja California
He has collaborated with us in the monitoring of flora and fauna, mainly in the Estero of Punta Banda. His enthusiasm and participation has been very important because, thanks to his collaboration, we have recorded the nesting of the Clapper Rail (Rallus obsoletus) and the Savannah Sparrow (Passerculus sandwichensis) in the 2016 and 2017 season at the marsh area in the Estuary. Likewise, he has helped monitor the Least Tern nesting in the Estuary since last year to date. He is currently in charge of the project called “Ictiofauna del Estero de Punta Banda”, in collaboration with Dr. Gorgonio Ruiz-Campos and the students Angel Jiménez and Oscar D. Olguín of the Biology course of the UABC.
