Master Plan and green infrastructure in Lagunar Complex San Quintín, Baja California

San Quintín, Baja California, México

Leslie is a young Landscape Architect, passionate about the design of open spaces. She has great interest in developing urban and regional projects that incorporate social, economic and environmental processes. She is currently aa intern for the “Coastal Solutions” Program of the Cornell Laboratory, and working to implement her vision of a sustainable coastline. She proposes to develop and implement a master plan for San Quintín Bay that incorporates strategies to mitigate the adverse effects of climate change and that can regulate the economic activities that are altering this ecosystem. She will concentrate on two sand bars that protect the bay and develop strategies to restore the habitat and manage unsustainable activities.
