He studied graphic design at the Universidad Iberoamericana at Tijuana B.C. 1971

He has lectured at various universities and design conferences. He is a member of the Cardumen organization dedicated to promoting communities. Since 2005 he runs “Taller Ciruela” a studio specialized in visual communication.
