On March 14th and 15th, the “1st Whale Cultural Festival” took place at the Sea boardwalk, in Ensenada, B. C. The event was carried out by Proturismo de Ensenada (the Municipal Agency in charge of promoting tourism), and the Port Administration of Ensenada.
In 1988 we started a project called Pro Esteros, a non-profit organization with the objective of conserving the wetlands in the northwest region of the country. Today in 2018 we celebrate 30 years of uninterrupted work for the conservation of the wetlands of our region.
Para conmemorar los 30 años de Pro Esteros, decidimos darle identidad y relevancia a nuestro aniversario. Es por eso que, junto con las maestras Laura Susana Zamudio Vega y Gabriela Bacelis de la Facultad de Ingeniería, Arquitectura y Diseño de la UABC, involucramos a sus estudiantes a participar en el concurso del diseño y elaboración de nuestro logotipo del 30 aniversario de Pro Esteros.
